Job Title

Registered Nurse – NICU

Location

Spokane, WA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a NICU setting within a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on patient acuity and unit needs
• Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and patient charting
• Float between sister facilities as needed per assignment requirements
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of NICU experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Ability to work variable weekends as part of the scheduled rotation
• Must submit all time-off requests upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with high-acuity NICU patient populations and variable nurse-to-patient ratio settings
