Your responsibilities may include:Rooming patients and preparing them for examinations, treatments, and proceduresObtaining and updating patient medical histories and relevant clinical informationAccurately documenting patient information and dermatologic concerns in the medical recordAssisting providers during examinations, treatments, and in-office proceduresPreparing examination and procedure rooms and ensuring necessary supplies are availableSupporting providers with clinical procedures within the scope of the Medical Assistant roleProviding patients with provider-directed education, instructions, and follow-up informationHelping maintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinicFollowing established clinical, safety, infection-control, and patient privacy standardsDelivering professional, compassionate, and responsive customer service to patientsWorking collaboratively with providers and fellow team members to support an excellent patient experiencePerforming other clinical and administrative duties as assignedWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and wants to be part of a collaborative healthcare team.Qualifications include:Customer service experience requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsComputer literacy and comfort working with electronic systemsAbility to learn and understand medical terminology, vital signs, and clinical workflowsCPR certification strongly preferred, or ability to obtain certification within four weeks of employmentAt least one year of dermatology experience preferredMedical Assistant certificate of completion or diploma from a medical vocational program preferredAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsDependable, professional, and committed to providing an excellent patient experienceWhy Cara Mia Dermatology?At Cara Mia Dermatology, you're not simply joining a practice.
