Seven Healthcare are seeking a qualified Medical Assistant / Secretary for a perinatology office in Norwalk, CT. This travel assignment offers a supportive work environment where you can apply your clinical and clerical skills to ensure efficient patient care and office operations.

- Provide clinical and clerical support for the perinatology office
- Ensure the patient and examination area is properly prepared
- Greet and escort patients from the waiting room to the clinical area
- Conduct intake activities and document appropriate information
- Transcribe and update patient records
- Conduct in-office testing and coordinate ancillary services
- Collect, prepare, and process specimens
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduate of Medical Assistant program, Nursing Assistant training program, EMT certification, or 3 years experience in a medical office
- Phlebotomy skills
- Basic medical knowledge and terminology
- Data entry skills
- Skilled in obtaining accurate patient vital signs
- Minimum of one year experience
