About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to spearhead the next phase of its growth. The successful candidate will be a hands-on, data-driven leader with a strong background in growth and performance marketing. This role is pivotal in owning the company's growth and brand engines, with a focus on translating marketing investment into sustainable, profitable revenue. The CMO will be responsible for the full growth funnel, including paid acquisition across various channels, lifecycle marketing, retention, SEO, and organic growth. A key aspect of the role is to champion AI and automation to enhance the team's effectiveness and streamline workflows. The ideal candidate will have a builder mindset, be pragmatic, and possess a strong sense of ownership, with a proven track record of scaling marketing functions and a deep expertise in performance marketing, particularly in paid search acquisition. Applicants for the CMO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in growth, performance marketing, or marketing leadership roles, with a demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and manage P&L. The role requires a leader with a strong command of measurement, attribution, and data-driven decision-making, as well as experience in building and retaining talent. A player-coach leadership style is essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment. Preferred qualifications include experience in high-growth startup environments, particularly in the travel, hospitality, marketplace, or consumer technology industries, and a proven track record of integrating AI into marketing workflows. The CMO will also be expected to have a global perspective, with experience in international growth, localization, and multi-language marketing.
