Day Shift Cashier

Shift Information Day Shift employees are required to be available to work between 10:00 and 14:00. Actual scheduled hours will vary. Overview Arctic Circle is looking for a Cashier to join our team. Our frontline Crew Members are more than just order takers; they are our sales force. They provide a level of guest service that exceeds guests’ expectations and accomplishes our goal to “More than Satisfy.” Characteristics of a Great Restaurant Service Representative Projects a professional appearance and a positive attitude at all times in the restaurant. Makes both food safety and sanitation a priority. Is able to learn and hustle in a team environment. Is a self‑starter and can multi‑task. Tasks and Responsibilities Greet guests enthusiastically with a friendly smile. Accurately record orders on a cash register. Collect payment from guests and make change. Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain them accurately. Meet guests’ needs and take steps to solve food or service issues. Interact with guests to ensure high quality experiences. Understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety and sanitation guidelines. Prepare quality ice cream products, assemble food and beverage orders, and check that they’re correct. Present quality products at all times and maintain a neat and clean work area. Maintain adequately stocked workstations, restocking as needed. Attend special meetings as scheduled by the Restaurant Manager.
