This is a full-time onsite Staff Fulfillment Pharmacist position at our Kent, WA location. \ N \n

The shift for this position is Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5 pm, and includes on-call responsibilities.

POSITION SUMMARY

\ N \n

Staff Pharmacist interprets physicians’ prescriptions, contacts doctors or other prescribers and/or patients to verify information on prescriptions and expedite processing of order. This position is responsible for compounding and dispensing medications within corporate and regulatory guidelines. The Staff Pharmacist will track order status and outstanding issues. This individual may take calls from customers regarding lost orders or dispensing errors, maintain daily production, quality and service levels, vary work priorities and activities to accommodate business needs. The position is expected to have flexibility in both schedule and job duties, as well as a willingness to obtain multistate licensure as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

o Provide oversight andquality assurance to pharmacy technicians.

\ N

o Interpret physicians’or prescribers’ prescriptions.

\ N

o Contact doctors and/or patients to verify information on prescriptions such as drug strength, prescription sig., and drug name in order to expedite processing of orders.

\ N

o Verify and confirm validity of controlled substances.

\ N

o Verify prescription information entered in the system by data entry or order entry.

\ N

o Back up other pharmacists as needed, perform additional duties as assigned by management, or train less experienced pharmacists.

o Maintain quality and efficiency expectations

\ N

o Adhere to all state and federal regulations surrounding pharmacy practice

\ N

o Training of other pharmacists and/or technicians in functions

\ N

o On-Call Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS

\ N

o Graduate of ACPE Accreditation School of Pharmacy with a B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm.D, degree.

\ N

o 1+ years relevant experience.

\ N

o Current resident pharmacist license in good standing

\ N

o Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues.

\ N

o Good oral and writtencommunication skills.

\ N

o Ability to read and interpret prescriptions.

\ N

o Strong focus on customer service, quality and accuracy.

\ N

o Ability to manage timelines and meet tight client deadlines.

\ N

o Ability to adapt in achanging environment.

\ N

o Ability to work a flexible schedule for peak volume times and PTO coverage.

\ N \n

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
