Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this role, your expertise will enable students to develop and strengthen critical life and learning skills. You’ll deliver both direct and consultative occupational therapy services—creating a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

What You'll Do:

• Guide students’ progress through individualized and group therapy based on IEPs
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluate students’ occupational therapy needs
• Design goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique challenges
• Partner closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and parents to ensure effective support
• Document therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with state and district guidelines
• Contribute actively to IEP meetings and goal-setting for student achievement
• Address fine motor development, sensory processing, and daily living skills to enhance classroom participation

What We're Looking For:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current Virginia Occupational Therapist license, or eligibility to obtain one
• NBCOT certification
• School-based experience is a plus, though not required
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities

Role Details:

• Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week, following the school district calendar—including school holidays and breaks
