Description: Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted. Patient Population: Adolescents to Geriatrics. Certifications Required: BLS. General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Medical Surgical Unit with remote telemetry and potential medical surgical diagnoses. Ratio / Census: 1:6; 38 bed unit with average daily census of 33. Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR. Scrub Color: Navy Blue. RTO: MAX 7 days. RTO Blackout Dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th). Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere. Floating: Yes, within facility/scope of practice as needed. Call Requirements: None. Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
