Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role
• Passion for encouraging student success and promoting a positive learning environment
• Strong communication skills for working effectively with students, teachers, and staff
• Ability to follow instructional plans and adapt to classroom dynamics
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Reliability, compassion, and enthusiasm for working with students at the high school level

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students, either assisting a specific individual or groups within the classroom
• Reinforce educational and behavioral goals as outlined by teachers or specialists
• Encourage student independence while offering guidance and support as needed
• Assist with classroom activities, transitions, and daily routines
• Contribute to the supervision and safety of students
• Implement strategies tailored to individual learning styles or needs
