Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Prepare and review medical records, nurses' notes to evaluate the resident's physical and emotional status. Audit/review charts daily. Provide nursing care as ordered by medical providers, care plans, established standards, policies, and procedures. Prepare and pass medications in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies. Sign, date and perform all charting, record keeping, and care plans in accordance with established policies and procedures. Supervise and support personnel management of staff including providing real-time coaching and education to nursing staff as needed. Practice in accordance with nursing scope and Joint Commission and California Department of Health Care Services regulations. Assist in interviewing, and on-boarding/training of new nursing department staff. Support leadership with chart audits, staffing schedules, and other duties as assigned. Communicates with medical providers and the program director to ensure safe patient care and compliance. Assists with coordinating care to outside providers, pick up of medications, and after-care plans for clients. Other duties as assigned. Required Education & Licensure: Associate's degree from an accredited University or School of Nursing. Current Registered Nursing (RN) License in the State of California for 1+ years. Current TB Test, CPR/First Aid. Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited University or School of Nursing, Supervisory experience, Certified to draw blood Travel Required: Ability to travel to various locations
