Make a meaningful impact in the educational community by providing physical therapy services to students across LA County. In this contracted role, you’ll work full-time (37.5 hours per week) throughout the entire school year, helping students from elementary through high school. Your dedication will support student success and mobility both in school settings and potentially assist with home health needs when required.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California
• Previous experience in school-based physical therapy strongly preferred
• Ability to adapt treatment approaches for a diverse student population, from elementary to high school
• Willingness to work exclusively in person—remote work is not available
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Reliable transportation to travel within LA County schools and occasional home visits

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group physical therapy interventions to students according to IEPs and district guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize each student’s functional access to the school environment
• Conduct assessments, write reports, and maintain thorough records in compliance with state and district requirements
• Travel between multiple campuses in LA County as needed, adapting your schedule and approach to a dynamic environment
• Possibly assist with home health visits for students, as directed by the district
