Electronic Technology Adjunct Assistant Professor

The Los Rios Community College District is seeking qualified candidates for a part‑time, temporary adjunct faculty position. The pool is open continuously and refreshed every two years. Candidates remain active in the pool for two years. Responsibilities Teach assigned classes under the supervision of the area dean. Help students master course content and assess learning outcomes. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge in the teaching field. Engage in professional development and use current technology. Maintain professional conduct and ethics. Assist with articulation and curriculum development and review. Serve on college committees and participate in faculty governance and student co‑curricular activities. Assume other responsibilities as assigned by the area dean. Qualifications Minimum educational credentials: any bachelor’s degree or higher and two years of professional experience, or any associate degree and six years of professional experience, or the equivalent. On completion of a master’s degree, professional experience must be directly related to the assignment. Degrees must be from an accredited institution and completed by the time of hire. Salary Initial maximum salary placement is based on academic degree, upper/graduate level units earned, and related professional experience, per the Los Rios College Federation of Teachers Contract (Class V, Step 1). Step‑placement levels are determined by a step‑placement process.
