In addition, this role actively contributes to the education and training of learners, including medical students, residents, and fellows, and participates in departmental and divisional academic activities.## **Job Description:****Job Duties:*** Attend on HMCT inpatient services on a rotating basis, including shared weekend and on-call responsibilities.* Establish and maintain outpatient clinics for patients with non-malignant hematologic conditions.* Supervise the plan of care, procedures, diagnostic testing, and consultation orders of house staff in both inpatient and outpatient settings.* Participate in hematology/BMT conferences, journal clubs, and other academic activities, and provide teaching lectures to residents, medical students, and fellows.* Support departmental and divisional research efforts, including clinical trial development, accrual, and research mentorship.* Perform other duties as assigned by the Division Director and/or Department Chair.* Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain expertise in non-malignant hematology and related clinical and research practices.This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
