Vca El Mirage Animal Hospital is looking for a talented veterinary assistant with a strong work ethic, high-quality patient care, and exceptional client service. Candidates should enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment where they can remain detail-oriented.
As a member of the Vca team, your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parentby delivering an outstanding client experienceso they will partner with us for the lifelong care of their companion animals.
You've worked hard for your credentialing, and we want you to use the knowledge that you've invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:
- Physical examinations and patient assessment
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Surgical preparation and assisting
- Dentistry
- Radiology
- Laboratory work
- Venipuncture
- Catheter placement
- Pharmacy
- Patient recovery
- Client communication
- Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals
At Vca Animal Hospitals, we are seeking full-time team members for our hospital! Part-time positions are also available. We have a unique culture in our hospital that values each person's skill and personality.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The pay range for this position is $16.75 - $17.50/hour.
