Fellowship Program In Pediatric Ent And Facial Plastic Surgery

The Fellowship Program offers medical students enrolled in accredited U.S. medical schools the opportunity to spend 1-2 years conducting non-exclusive intensive work in clinical research within the department of Pediatric ENT and Facial Plastic Surgery at Children's Minnesota. Fellows are selected on the basis of a competitive application. The Fellowship seeks individuals with demonstrated academic achievement and an earnest interest in Otolaryngology. Although applicants may have prior research experience, applications are encouraged from students without extensive prior research experience. Applications are encouraged from second and third-year medical students. 1st and 4th-year medical student applications will be reviewed on an ad hoc basis according to program vacancies. There are no citizenship requirements for application, but those who are not U.S. citizens must have and maintain an appropriate visa. The Fellowship will not handle visa matters for applicants. The Fellowship is designed to run concurrently with medical school classes and curriculum. The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee's scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs. In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
