Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The role involves operating CNC Mills, conducting quality checks, running 1st piece inspections, and filling out documentation. You will work on parts ranging from 25 to 500 pieces, and will be responsible for running one machine at a time. This position does not require setup experience, and training is available.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Mills efficiently.
• Perform quality checks and inspections on parts.
• Conduct 1st piece inspections and fill out necessary documentation.
• Run one machine at a time, focusing on precision and quality.

• 3+ years of experience in CNC machining.
• 2+ years of experience in precision measurements and quality inspection.
• Knowledge of tool changes and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CNC lathe, CNC mill, and CNC operation.

• Any setup knowledge or experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Enjoy room for pay improvement based on skills development and learning setup processes. Work in a clean shop environment with realistic production expectations.

Work Environment

1st shift hours are from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. While currently running overtime, employees will work a straight 40-hour week while on contract.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Racine, WI.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
