CDL DRIVER

About the Role:

Join J E Trucking Ltd as a CDL Driver and be a vital part of our dynamic team in Commerce City, CO. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional service while ensuring safety and efficiency on the road.

Responsibilities:

Operate and drive heavy trucks to transport goods to various locations.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.

Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service records.

Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.

Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to promote safety on the road.

Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.

Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle.

Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance driving skills and safety practices.

Requirements:

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.

Minimum of 2 years of experience driving heavy trucks in a professional setting.

Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Ability to perform physical tasks as required.

Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends if necessary.
