About the Position

Job Title: PICC RN Profession: RN Infusion Specialty: RN Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 36 guaranteed hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience with insertion and maintenance of peripherally inserted catheters, central lines, midlines, and peripheral IVs. Description: Inserts peripherally placed central venous lines, midlines, and peripheral IV catheters. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as a resource regarding insertion and maintenance of vascular access devices and procedures. Evaluates status of interventions and patient goals for the purpose of reassessment and revision of the plan of care and discharge planning. Provides instruction and information to staff, patients, and their families regarding the use and care of vascular access devices. Ceil blue scrubs required. EHR: Cerner OneChart.
