Registered NurseUnder supportive supervision, the RN works effectively using the nursing process in rendering routine nursing care to a critically or acutely ill adult patient or a given patient care population of less acutely ill patients as it relates to the care setting. Emphasis at this level is on the interpretation and execution of the medical and nursing plan of treatment utilizing established procedures, standards and protocols for individuals within the assigned work shift.
