CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction. Every day, you will deliver compassionate basic care, assist with patient transport, and actively contribute to the patient's plan of care as a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, upholding the highest standards of conduct and patient well-being.Performs and educates family members, as indicated, the restorative care functions that may include, but are not necessarily be limited to: 1) Ambulation assistance 2) Eating assistance 3) ADL assistance 4) ROM (AROM & PROM) 5) Bowel & Bladder Training 6) Splint / Brace / Prosthesis placement / care. Performs the above duties as well as lifting, moving, positioning and transporting of patients while using proper techniques and/or equipment. Measurements: Observation, Feedback, Equipment condition, Variance reportsIn addition to those listed in 1.1 above, demonstrates basic skills including, but not necessarily limited to: Patient hygiene (bathing, grooming, oral and perineal care, back rubs); Documentation of baseline data (vital signs, intake and output), Knowledge of mobility and precautions for orthopedic patients; Skin care for immobilized patients; Infection control & prevention.
