Overview
We are seeking a skilled Haas CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team in Pompano Beach, FL. If you have a passion for precision machining and a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Responsibilities- Set up and operate Haas CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to quality standards using precision measuring tools.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC machinist, specifically with Haas machinery.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
- Proficient in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
