HOTWORX Beaufort – General Manager

HOTWORX Beaufort is looking for a high-performing, enthusiastic, and results-driven General Manager to lead our studio team and drive membership growth, retail sales, lead generation, and overall studio success.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who enjoys sales, coaching a team, building relationships, and being actively involved in the community. The General Manager will play a key role in growing our member base, developing the team, increasing revenue, and creating an exceptional experience for every member.

The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership, leads by example, is highly motivated by goals, and is not afraid to get out into the community to generate new business.

General Manager Responsibilities:

• Meet and exceed monthly membership sales and revenue goals

• Drive new membership sales through lead follow-up, phone calls, appointments, walk-ins, referrals, events, and community outreach

• Lead by example by achieving personal sales goals while coaching the team to achieve theirs

• Recruit, interview, hire, train, coach, and develop Sales Associates and studio staff

• Hold team members accountable for daily activity, lead follow-up, appointments, sales, retail performance, and overall studio goals

• Show up daily on time and ready to execute all job duties with energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude

• Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive, motivating, and welcoming environment for members

• Build relationships with local businesses, schools, medical offices, organizations, and community partners to generate leads and increase brand awareness

• Plan and participate in local marketing events, promotions, outreach, and community initiatives

• Utilize social media and other marketing platforms to engage current members, attract prospects, and grow the HOTWORX brand

• Drive retail sales and ensure the team is knowledgeable about HOTWORX products, supplements, apparel, and other retail offerings

• Monitor leads, appointments, sales activity, cancellations, membership numbers, retail performance, and other studio metrics

• Report daily on sales trends, prospecting efforts, lead activity, membership growth, and studio performance to ownership

• Manage the studio schedule and ensure appropriate staffing and coverage

• Assist with payroll and ensure employee hours are accurate and submitted on time

• Oversee day-to-day studio operations and communicate maintenance or facility issues promptly

• Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and welcoming studio environment

• Utilize CRM systems, POS systems, and online platforms for customer relationship management, membership sales, billing, collections, email campaigns, texting campaigns, and lead follow-up

• Ensure all studio processes and procedures are being followed consistently

• Complete all required HOTWORX training, both online and in person, as directed by ownership

• Stay knowledgeable about HOTWORX workouts, memberships, products, promotions, and programs so you can confidently educate prospects and members

• Work closely with ownership to identify opportunities for growth and continuously improve studio performance

Previous management, sales, fitness, or customer service experience is preferred, but we are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, work ethic, leadership ability, and willingness to learn.

This is a hands-on management position. The General Manager should expect to be actively involved in sales, marketing, team development, member experience, and daily studio operations.

Schedule & Commitment:

• Full-time position
• Approximately 40 hours per week
• Must be available for a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
• Reliable transportation required
• Must be able to reliably commute to Beaufort, SC
