Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Provide specialized care for patients requiring open heart, vascular, and thoracic surgeries
• Manage and operate specialized equipment including intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, CRRT, and epicardial pacemakers
• Ensure compliance with all protocols and standards of care in the Cardiac Care ICU

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Cardiac ICU
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification
• Preferred CCRN certification
• NIH certification
