Description American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an ICU position requiring 3+ years of ICU experience and prior travel assignment experience. Details Work in the ICU of a busy acute care, verified trauma center hospital ICU patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 based on acuity; Step Down ratio 1:3 May float to CVICU based on facility needs Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts with a 36-hour guarantee (no 4/12 schedules) Required to work every other weekend No on-call requirements Uses Cerner EMR Requirements Active MI RN license required at time of submission (compact license not accepted) Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience required Completion of at least one prior travel assignment required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS Copy of ACLS certification required for consideration Skills checklist completed within the past year required for RN specialty Michigan license verification (LARA and Nursys) required Additional Information Deliver quality nursing care using the nursing process in collaboration with the healthcare team Assess physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients and plan/implement individualized care Evaluate patient responses to interventions and adjust care accordingly Navy blue scrub color required per facility dress code No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested Local candidates within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers with adjusted pay Former McLaren full-time employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of their employment end date Facility enforces a strict 3-strike attendance policy for absences or tardiness over 20 minutes These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
