Quality Inspector

Our client, an aerospace manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be an integral part of the Quality Department supporting inspection processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Irvine, CA

Pay Range: $29.00

Shift: 1st shift 5:30am- 2:30pm

What's the Job?

• Perform in-process and outbound dimensional and visual inspections of aerospace component parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies.

• Ensure products conform to manufacturing drawings, quality control specifications, and customer requirements through precise inspection techniques.

• Review and accept inspection paperwork and documentation, producing detailed reports for product acceptance or rejection.

• Utilize measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, pin gages, and optical comparators to verify dimensions and quality standards.

• Maintain compliance with FAA, DFAR, and Nadcap requirements, ensuring all inspections meet industry standards.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Minimum of five years of experience in aerospace mechanical inspection or related field.

• Proficiency in using measurement tools and understanding geometrical tolerancing per ASME Y14.5.

• Experience working within FAA and aerospace industry standards, including familiarity with inspection reports and test procedures.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
