Staff Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Pain Management

Location: The Woodlands, TX

Pay Rate: Starting at $40.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Dean's Professional Services is actively seeking an experienced Staff Registered Nurse (RN) to join a specialized Outpatient Pain Management clinic in Houston, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled RN who thrives in a procedural setting and is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, triage, and post-procedure monitoring for pain management patients
• Assist physicians during procedures such as spinal injections (lumbar/cervical), radiofrequency ablations, and other interventional treatments
• Administer medications, including moderate sedation, and monitor patient response
• Perform clinical duties such as phlebotomy, injections, lab coordination, and suture removal
• Prepare, maintain, and sterilize equipment and procedure rooms in compliance with safety and infection control standards
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and post-care instructions
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, efficient care
• Support patient flow, maintain inventory, and ensure clinical areas are organized and fully stocked
• Serve as a resource to team members and assist with onboarding or mentoring when needed

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - Texas or Compact (required)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical or procedural setting
• Experience in pain management, outpatient procedures, or surgical/clinical environments preferred
• Strong skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and clinical documentation
• Ability to circulate in procedure rooms and manage pre- and post-procedure care
