We are actively seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our rapidly growing team at our Sugar Grove, IL branch location. The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for incoming and outgoing shipments through the parts warehouse, supporting our parts department and other departments by handling the movement of parts and other items in and out of our building.

Position Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments, verify against purchase orders.
• Package and prepare outgoing shipments, using method of shipment appropriate to needs.
• Assist parts staff by pulling stock items for orders.
• Put parts stock orders away.
• Monitor field tech bins and ship items in bins to drop points.
• Periodically review open PO file for aged orders.
• Maintain housekeeping in parts warehouse area.
• Assist with parts physical inventory.
• Back up to parts driver make local deliveries or pick ups.
• May need to assist unloading trucks.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties or projects as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated customer service orientation.
• Strong computer proficiency.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated team player.
• Must have current material handling Operator's License.
• Must have valid driver's license and good motor vehicle record.

Physical demands: Employee is required to frequently stand, walk, talk, and listen. Employee is required to frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls, including packaging materials, computer and other office equipment. Employee must occasionally sit, and frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Appropriate material handling equipment should be used to lift or move items that are heavy or bulky. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
