Registered Nurse - Critical Care

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day 3x12-hour shifts (06:30 - 19:00), every other weekend required.

Job Description: The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions such as trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro cases. The role involves critical assessment and management of patient care, utilizing advanced technology and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' conditions continuously.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage patients with ventilatory support and perform necessary interventions.
• Assist in advanced procedures when required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately in the Epic system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Preferred 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in critical care settings; 2+ years may be considered with strong experience.
• Must have current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Epic charting system experience is required.
• Experience in Trauma Level I or II is preferred.
• Must be capable of floating within the facility to meet patient care needs.
• Travel experience required.
