Job Overview

Allmed Staffing is seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Front Office Receptionist to support daily operations at a healthcare facility. This role is ideal for someone with healthcare experience who enjoys interacting with patients, providing excellent customer service, and keeping front office operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will have experience with patient check-in, phone management, electronic health records (EHR), and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a warm, professional, and welcoming manner.
• Manage patient check-in and verify information accurately, assisting at least 40 patients per day.
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments or staff.
• Monitor and manage the office inbox, responding to inquiries and routing messages as needed.
• Run, prepare, and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Maintain accurate patient information and update records in the electronic health record system.
• Use medical terminology appropriately when communicating with patients and healthcare staff.
• Assist with general administrative duties to support daily front office operations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow applicable healthcare privacy guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and ensure an efficient patient experience.

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare or medical office experience preferred.
• Experience with EPIC or another electronic health record system preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
