Additional Information About the Role BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time MRI Technologist (Weekend Option) for Christian Hospital (11133 Dunn Rd., St. Louis, MO). $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible candidates. Weekend Premium Pay: 50% extra on hourly rate for weekend hours. Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services. MRI at NWHC has a Siemens 1.5T Magnetom Symphony scanner. The procedure room has a large window making the room bright & has a very open feeling. MRI offers same day service. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose: Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control. Responsibilities Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
