Location: Bakersfield, California

Department/Unit: Emergency Department

Salary Range: $50 to $65 per hour

Shift: Night Shift (36-48 hours per week)

Duration: 13 weeks (Contract)

Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Room in Bakersfield, California. This role requires a strong clinical background in emergency nursing and the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

• Assess and triage patients based on medical need and urgency.
• Provide emergency care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.

• Weekly Hours: 36-48 hours per week on night shifts.
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks.
