Azure Engineer with IAM

Akkodis is seeking an Azure Engineer with IAM for a Contract with a client in Burlington, MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and securing identity and access management solutions across Azure environments.

Rate Range: $53/Hour to $56/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Azure Engineer with IAM Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and manage Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) solutions for authentication, authorization, and identity governance.
• Configure and maintain RBAC, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Conditional Access, SSO, and MFA policies.
• Support hybrid identity environments using Azure AD Connect and integrate IAM with enterprise and thirdparty applications.
• Monitor identity security risks, perform access reviews, audits, and compliance reporting.
• Automate IAM operations using PowerShell and Azure CLI while supporting incident response and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with security, cloud, and application teams to enforce Zero Trust and IAM best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Azure, IAM, or cloud security roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID), including RBAC, PIM, Conditional Access, SSO, and MFA.
• Proven experience managing hybrid identity environments, automating IAM processes (PowerShell/Azure CLI), and enforcing Zero Trust and security best practices.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
