Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A well-established closed-door Long Term Care (LTC) pharmacy in Topeka, KS, is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join their team full-time. This contract-to-hire position spans 13 weeks, providing an excellent opportunity to transition into a permanent role while contributing to quality pharmaceutical care in the LTC setting. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, offering consistency and work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Quality Assurance (QA) tasks to ensure the accuracy and safety of medication distribution
  • Conduct comprehensive cycle checking to maintain high standards of pharmacy practice
  • Verify prescriptions with precision, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and patient safety protocols

Qualifications:

  • Active Pharmacist license in Kansas, with a clear record and no negative history
  • Minimum of one year of pharmacist experience; Long Term Care pharmacy experience is preferred
  • Ability to start promptly to meet the current operational needs

  • Topeka, Kansas (closed-door LTC pharmacy)
