Job Summary:

The Cath Lab/EP Tech is responsible for supporting electrophysiology procedures and cardiac catheterization labs, ensuring high-quality patient care and equipment functionality. They assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a multidisciplinary cardiovascular setting.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Prepare and set up all necessary equipment and supplies for EP and cath lab procedures.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians during complex cardiac ablations, pacemaker insertions, and device programming.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any procedural changes promptly.
  
  
• 
  Maintain clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
  
  
• 
  Support the team with maintaining sterile environments and equipment sterilization.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in cath labs or electrophysiology labs.
  
  
• 
  Valid active license required at the time of submission.
  
  
• 
  Certification in BLS, ACLS, and ARRT is mandatory.
  
  
• 
  Experience with arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, and device management necessary.
  
  
• 
  Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system required.
  
  
• 
  Prior experience with cardiac ablation, conduction studies, and LAA procedures preferred.
