Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
• Completed CFY and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC

Assignment Details

• Schedule: M-F
• Weekend shifts optional

Location Highlights

Bakersfield offers access to both outdoor recreation and city amenities in California's southern San Joaquin Valley. The Kern River Parkway Trail runs for more than 30 miles through the city, and Hart Memorial Park provides lakes, picnic areas, and open space just northeast of downtown. Sequoia National Forest is roughly 70 miles away for mountain hiking and camping, and Wind Wolves Preserve southwest of the city features over 90,000 acres of grassland and scenic trails. Downtown Bakersfield includes the Fox Theater and the Bakersfield Museum of Art, and the city sits along Highway 99 with regional access to Los Angeles in about 2 hours depending on traffic.
