Day-to-day tasks include preparing testing materials and environments, conducting one-on-one test sessions with patients across age groups, and following standardized administration procedures to ensure reliable and valid results. The Psychometrist documents observations during testing, enters and verifies data, and prepares organized score reports and summaries for supervising providers. Additional responsibilities may include coordinating testing schedules, maintaining testing inventory, assisting with report preparation, and collaborating with clinicians to support diagnostic and treatment planning. The role involves consistent professional interaction with patients and colleagues, adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards, and participation in training and quality-improvement activities.\n\nQualifications\n\n Ability to accurately administer, score, and document psychological and neuropsychological tests in accordance with standardized procedures and supervisory guidance.\n Strong observational, analytical, and data-entry skills to capture client behavior, ensure scoring precision, and support clear, organized test reporting.\n Effective interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with clinicians, interact professionally with clients and families, and explain testing processes in accessible language.\n Solid organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple appointments, maintain testing materials, and meet documentation and reporting timelines.\n Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality (HIPAA compliance), cultural responsiveness, and a client-centered approach to care.\n Bachelor’s degree in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field; prior experience in psychological testing or a clinical setting is required.\n Comfort working on-site in a clinical office environment in Norwood, MA, with flexibility to adapt to varied client needs and testing demands.\n Willingness to engage in ongoing supervision, training, and professional development in neuropsychological assessment practices.\n
