Registered Nurse (RN) - Psychiatric

Role Provides specialized psychiatric nursing care in a behavioral health setting, ensuring patient safety, optimizing outcomes, and responding decisively to adverse symptoms. Responsibilities Initiates corrective actions, responds to patient care situations using protocols, handles critical and stressful scenarios with professionalism, and works independently in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least 6 months of nursing experience. Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Additional Requirements Advanced CPI certification within 30 days of hire, ongoing recertification, and relevant certifications as per position standards. Key Duties Provides direct patient care, monitors safety, responds to clinical situations, and maintains compliance with organizational policies. Work Environment Onsite role in a behavioral health unit, with flexible shifts and full-time hours.
