About the Role:

Crafts & Vines in Covington, KY is looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Bartender to take the helm behind the bar! This is your chance to showcase your craft, lead a talented team, and create unforgettable experiences for every guest who walks through our doors.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences through engaging, attentive customer service 
• Serve wine, beer, and specialty beverages with accuracy and skill
• Lead, train, and mentor bar staff to uphold service standards and best practices
• Develop and update cocktail menus, seasonal drinks, and featured specials
• Monitor bar inventory,  and manage stock levels to minimize waste
• Ensure bar area is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations
• Handle cash, POS transactions, and end-of-shift reconciliation accurately
• Set weekly schedules for staff on our online scheduling platform

Requirements:

• 2+ years of bartending experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of wine, craft beer, spirits and classic/modern cocktail techniques
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid TIPS or equivalent alcohol service certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work evenings, weekends
• Must meet Kentucky state age requirements for serving alcohol
• Wage is hourly plus tips, averaging $37-$45 an hour
