Systems Scientist II in Product Development at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Pleasanton, CA location. Responsibilities

Design, plan, and execute experiments supporting product and systems development
Analyze experimental data to draw conclusions and guide development decisions
Identify and investigate root causes of complex technical issues using structured troubleshooting
Develop, test, and demonstrate solutions to system-level issues
Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and cross-functional teams to achieve product development objectives

Requirements

Advanced degree in relevant scientific or engineering discipline, or bachelor's degree plus 2+ years relevant industry/research experience
Strong hands-on laboratory skills with techniques and instrumentation relevant to the role
Ability to design, execute, analyze, and interpret complex experiments
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across multiple system components
Proficiency with laboratory instrumentation, software, and data analysis tools
Excellent communication of complex technical information to diverse audiences
Experience in quality systems such as GMP, GLP, or ISO environments preferred
