Traveling Physical Therapist Position

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist position in Wheat Ridge, CO at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Evaluations are 60 minutes with follow-ups every 30 minutes. The role includes developing, implementing and modifying treatment plans, directing discipline-specific therapy services, and educating patients, families, students and coworkers. Maintain professional licensure and comply with state practice acts and organizational policies. Demonstrate safety awareness and participate in performance improvement activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Colorado Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy environment preferred.
• Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, document in compliance with state, federal and payer guidelines, and complete 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-ups.
• Experience supervising students and delegating discipline-specific therapy services preferred.

Assignment Details

• 40 hours per week.
• 13-week assignment.
• Evaluations: 60 minutes. Follow-up visits: 30 minutes.
