Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations to determine patient needs
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and agency standards
• Providing therapeutic interventions targeting speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
• Educating patients and families on communication strategies, compensatory techniques, and safe swallowing practices
• Assessing and documenting patient progress, modifying treatment plans as clinically appropriate
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes
• Communicating effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and physicians
• Maintaining compliance with all legal, ethical, and professional standards
