Java Developer
NTT DATA, Inc.
The Graduate Java Developer will be expected to:
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary Agile/SCRUM team to deliver software solutions.
- Learn and understand functional requirements, technical designs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with technical leads, senior developers, and designers to clarify requirements and technical approaches.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of Java-based applications and APIs.
- Write clean, simple, maintainable code under guidance from experienced team members.
- Follow project coding standards, development processes, and engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, learn from feedback, and apply improvements to future development work.
- Support the creation and execution of unit tests and integration tests.
- Support application builds and releases to development and test environments.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and provide progress updates on assigned tasks.
- Work with testers and developers to investigate and resolve defects.
- Document relevant technical information, learning notes, and implementation details.
- Build knowledge of new technologies, tools, frameworks, and software development practices.
- Develop an understanding of secure, reliable, and scalable software delivery.
