RN - MS Tele

Registered Nurse

This is an 8-week contract position in the MS/Tele specialty. Shifts are 3x12 nights from 18:00 to 06:30. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Floating is required within skillset. First-time travelers may be considered. Patient ratios are 6:1. Candidates must have charting experience with EPIC. Patient diagnoses include general medicine, social admissions, and surgical cases. Additional skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response/code teams, peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and adherence to isolation precautions/PPE. Support services in this unit include physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. Daily census is approximately 32 patients. Number of beds in the unit is 37. There are no specific special procedures or equipment requirements for this unit.
