Schedule/Hours:

• On-call per unit needs (with a 1-hour response time if called in)
• 36 hours per week not guaranteed; up to 12 hours of low-census per 2-week period possible
• Shifts may include weekends and holidays

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Current unencumbered OH RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years’ Med Surg nursing experience
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience
• High-acuity unit mentor/charge RN experience
• Strong clinical assessment, care planning, medication administration, and documentation skills
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking abilities

Role and Core Duties:

• Conduct thorough initial and ongoing patient assessments
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient-centered care plans
• Administer oral, IV, and injectable medications safely and accurately
• Monitor and document vital signs, interventions, and responses per policy
• Coordinate multidisciplinary collaboration for comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families about conditions, procedures, and discharge plans
• Provide postoperative care and watch for complications
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols
• Respond efficiently to emergency and crisis situations, including performing CPR
