As a speech pathologist at Charter House, your primary responsibilities will include: Evaluating and treating residents in the Short‑Term Rehabilitation Center with communication disorders and/or impairments including dysphagia Participating as a member of an interdisciplinary team Establishing augmentative/alternative communication systems for patients *This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship; Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program. Qualifications To be considered for this position, you must have a MS or MA degree in speech-language pathology . License/Certification Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association is required. Current State of Minnesota Department of Health Speech‑Language Pathology license is required. Additional Qualifications Experience evaluating and treating adults with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing impairments. Experience working within senior housing is preferred. International Degrees A detailed equivalency evaluation is required, demonstrating a U.S. equivalent degree. Evaluation must be completed by an organization listed as a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) or the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. (AICE). Exemption Status Nonexempt Compensation Detail $37.33 - $54.90 / hour; Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
