Step into a meaningful role supporting young learners as a paraprofessional in a vibrant educational setting north of San Francisco. Multiple full-time opportunities are available for dedicated and compassionate individuals to serve as Instructional Aides across several welcoming elementary schools. Your engagement will help students thrive from the very start of the school year in August 2026 through to June 2027.
You’ll support either Transitional Kindergarten–Kindergarten classrooms or work with 1st–5th grade students, fostering positive learning environments and assisting children with various daily activities—including providing toileting and diapering support where needed.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience as a paraprofessional or instructional aide in a school setting
- Comfortable assisting with toileting/diapering for younger or special needs students
- Enthusiastic about fostering children’s academic and personal growth
- Reliable, punctual, and responsive to classroom needs
- Willingness to complete required para training (provided before placement)
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer hands-on classroom support alongside lead teachers
- Support students individually and in groups with academic, social, and emotional development
- Assist with general supervision throughout the school day, including before and after-school coverage
- Maintain classroom organization and safety
- Support inclusive practices for diverse learners
This contract position offers a structured, weekday schedule—Monday through Friday (6.5 hours daily, totaling 32.5 hours per week). Morning and afternoon shift options accommodate before and after school supervision needs.
