Job Overview The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. Key duties include parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting guests with luggage, and ensuring a positive first and last impression during arrival and departure. Key Responsibilities Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients. Greet guests within five feet and use professional salutations. Practice proper phone etiquette and post‑up in designated areas when not on duty. Park and retrieve vehicles safely, driving slowly and cautiously, and assist with bell services and luggage. Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests. Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries, and provide information about the facility’s amenities. Deliver requested messages, items or guest amenities and shuttle guests to approved locations. Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests, issue and collect claim checks, and maintain accurate ticket information. Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles as needed. Compensation & Schedule Hourly base pay range: $16 per hour plus tips. Work schedule: part‑time overnight shifts. Benefits are subject to change and depend on job classification, length of employment and hours worked. Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible for the benefits listed above. Qualifications Education : High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Licensure : Valid driver’s license for the state of application. Experience : One (1) month related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge : Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. Skills : Read and write standard English; read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to guests, clients and employees. Perform basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with American currency. Understand 24‑hour and military time systems. Understand applicable rates and time‑based calculations. Operate a manual transmission; parallel park. Scope and Authority The position is routine, following established practices and procedures. Incumbents perform duties with specific directions and are checked or verified frequently. Decisions are made within operational guidelines. Errors in judgment could affect departmental efficiency. Working Conditions & Physical Demands The role requires frequent talking or hearing, sitting or standing for extended periods, and running, walking, climbing stairs, and balancing. Lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, or up to 20 pounds constantly. Work is primarily outdoors; employees may be exposed to extreme heat and cold weather.
