Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) – Travel Contract | Evanston, IL

Favorite Healthcare Staffing is looking for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) for a 13-week travel contract in Evanston, IL! This opportunity is ideal for candidates with at least two years of recent Interventional Radiology experience, previous travel experience, and a strong background assisting with complex IR procedures. Neuro Interventional Radiology experience is highly preferred.

Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) Position Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Location: Evanston, IL
• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
• Start Date: ASAP, with Monday start dates preferred
• Shift & Schedule: Full-time day shifts, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekend Requirements: No regularly scheduled weekends unless on call
• On-Call Requirements: Up to 9 call days per month, including one weekend (Friday–Sunday) per 4-week schedule and additional third-person call coverage as assigned
• Call-Back Requirements: 30 minutes for Neuro IR and 45 minutes for Body IR
• Minimum Call-Back Pay: 2 hours
• Floating Requirements: Not specified

Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) Requirements:

• At least 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience required
• Previous travel assignment experience required
• Neuro Interventional Radiology experience highly preferred
• Experience scrubbing and assisting Interventional Radiologists with complex IR procedures strongly preferred
• Experience with thrombectomies, pulmonary embolism interventions, uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), and Y-90 radioembolization preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in high-acuity procedural environments
• Active Illinois IEMA license required
• Active ARRT certification required
• Active BLS certification required
• Ability to meet on-call and call-back requirements
