Leidos’ Defense Systems is seeking a Material Control Analyst to join our Platform Integration team in Huntsville, Alabama. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the efficient management of materials and logistics within the defense sector. We work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, focusing on optimizing inventory control and supply chain processes to support our mission of delivering high-quality defense solutions. Primary Responsibilities
Process incoming hardware and raw material for Inventory.
Create labeling to identify material receipts.
Perform inventory control tasks within DELTEK Costpoint management system.
Process incoming and outgoing subcontract materials and assemblies.
Communicate and coordinate with Production Control Planners.
Move materials between an Inventory Management Warehouse and Production Floor using a fork-lift or pallet jack.
Maintain an Inventory Bin System to store materials.
Basic Qualifications
High School diploma/GED with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
Experience working in the Manufacturing industry or relevant Inventory experience.
Candidate must be able to routinely lift objects up to 35-45 pounds.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications
Inventory Control with knowledge of Hazmat and Shipping/Receiving functions.
The preferred candidate will have 2 years of applicable working experience working in the Manufacturing industry or relevant Inventory experience.
Experience using DELTEK Costpoint, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft office Suite (Word, Excel, and Microsoft outlook).
