Job Details Sr Accountant - Large Manufacturer with Growth Opportunity Location: Global manufacturer headquartered in the US Salary: $105,000 - $120,000 per year Responsibilities Provide interpretation of financial policies, governmental legislation, accounting theory, and customer financial regulations. Participate with outside professional firms on accounting, legal, and tax matters. Identify trends and recommend improvements across operations. Provide management with cost and comparative reports to indicate needs for change in pricing or production. Review fixed asset reports to ensure accuracy and confirm that disposed assets are removed from the system. Direct preparation of studies, reports, and analyses in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial planning, governmental requirements, statistical reports, and business forecasts. Establish databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing results and forecasts. Make recommendations to management regarding cost‑saving or profit‑generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies. Develop manufacturing financial reporting and KPI metrics to support factory leadership. Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, new business planning, future requirements, government requirements, and operating forecasts. Work on special projects as required. Maintain the quality of the Accounting Department to service the ebm‑papst organization. Use MAC‑PAC, Sequel, PC‑FAS Accounting, Microsoft Excel and Word while performing this job. Support implementation of SAP. Qualifications BS in Accounting or Finance. Minimum 5 years of related work experience in a manufacturing company. Benefits Competitive Compensation Package.
